Unwanted dark and multi-coloured tattoos can be safely and effectively eliminated at The Hampton Clinic with our FDA-approved Harmony XL Pro laser machine, one of the most effective methods for removing tattoos currently available.
Successful multicoloured tattoo removal requires a high powered laser that can deliver enough energy within the absorption spectrum of a wide range of colours. Our Harmony XL Pro machine uses a combination of laser wavelengths to target and break up the different ink colours and is powerful enough to remove or reduce even the most stubborn tattoos.
Previous laser tattoo removal systems were often less effective at dealing with most kinds of tattoos. Moreover, these lasers lacked the precision needed to limit risks of permanent damage to the skin. Luckily, our Harmony XL Pro laser machine is one of the only ways to remove dark and multicoloured tattoos with the smallest risk of skin damage. This method also allows you get your tattoos removed with fewer treatments, saving you money and reducing your discomfort and inconvenience.
Every colour of ink requires a different wavelength of light and amount of energy to be efficiently removed. This treatment uses a high-powered Q-switched laser that can operate 2 different wavelengths and is effective with darker colours and brighter colours like red and orange. The mechanical Q-Switched effect works by vibrating and breaking down the ink particles in the tattoo and, as the area heals, the body’s lymphatic system flushes away the shattered ink particles, causing the tattoo to fade with minimal risk of scarring or skin discoloration. This is achieved by a photoacoustic effect created by the impact of the laser energy delivered with very short pulses to the targeted ink.
